International Labour Day

'One can do anything but not everything...so we need the support of people around us to achieve our goals.'
The Nursery Department of Dayanand Model School, West Patel Nagar celebrated Labour Day on 1st May 2019. The objective was to teach children about the importance and value of labour. A special assembly was conducted in the Nursery wing.All the teachers in the Nursery Department contributed to it. A melodious song was sung by Mrs Kiran Mahajan with the students to highlight the importance of labour and teamwork. There was 100% participation of the students. Mrs Sandhya Arya spoke about the importance of labour in everybody's life. Mrs Kumud Kishor graced the Assembly by giving her precious time and also motivated the students about the importance of labour.

As a mark of respect to class 4 employees and to make them realise how important we think they are for us, a small token of love in the form of chocolates were being given to them by Nursery class students.

Workers were overwhelmed watching the function and expressed their gratitude towards the school and students for their endeavour.
